Horoscope of a granny – Malayalam poem by Sandu

Visually impaired girl child were considered a burden to raise for many ancient families, poet Santhu uses this touching subject in his poem.

The poem in Malayalam is a regret of one such mother who is on her death bed and wishes to drink holy water from the hands of her visually impaired girl and finally introduces her to the family. She also repents her act and donates her eyes to her daughter and wished to live through her eyes.
